Ultrasone has unveils the latest product in its series of HFI headphones, the HFI-2400. The headphone features 40mm gold-plated drivers, while the company’s S-Logic technology is claimed to widen the perceived soundstage. The HFI-2400 comes with a detachable 3 meter stereo cord with a gold plated stereo plug, as well as a carrying bag and demo CD.
It features Ultrasone’s S-Logic technology that promises to create “natural surround sound” by reducing pressure on the eardrum up to 40 percent. S-Logic also reduces sound pressure, taking a bit of stress off of the eardrum, by utilizing the whole of the outer ear into the hearing process. Those looking to test drive the headphones can hit up one of Ultrasone’s new listening stations.
The headphones comes with a removable 10-foot cable, a velvet carrying bag, and an Ultrasone demonstration CD. The HFI-2400 will be available in late October or early November. Users can pre-order the headset from the company’s website for $295.
